Job Responsibilities:

The SharePoint Developer/Analyst will provide the development and content for users who regularly access internal SharePoint sites and utilize it as a major source for information and decision-making. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for activities associated with design, development and delivery of customer-defined SharePoint projects, including (but not limited to):

  • Designing, developing, documenting and supporting custom and out-of-the-box SharePoint solutions using industry best practices
  • Working with end users and stakeholders on identifying requirements for content as well as customized workflows
  • Developing work flows to automate manual processes on the program
  • Providing ongoing maintenance of the SharePoint portal
  • Troubleshooting and debugging any issues on the portal
  • Ensuring product quality and timeliness of efforts
  • Sharing creative ideas and innovative approaches to build robust capabilities that facilitate collaboration across the project team as well as the client and other key stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of three years work experience developing and implementing Microsoft SharePoint (SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online (Office 365)), Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies

  • Knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET framework, and Visual Studio (Visual C#, Visual Basic)
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML)
  • Demonstrable experience using Web Services in a SharePoint environment (i.e. connecting to third party web services to retrieve data)
  • Demonstrable experience working effectively in and fostering highly collaborative, team-oriented environments
  • Some past experience working with web environments in large IT organizations
  • Working knowledge of information architecture principles and user-centered design principles
  • Working knowledge of current best practices in web design, usability, and accessibility
  • Ability to create and maintain articulate, structured technical documentation
  • Strong organizations skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills required to articulate and communicate with team members, end users, clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent written communication skills required to create and update technical, functional and programmatic documentation

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology SharePoint 2013 server administration
  • SharePoint Online (Office 365) applications deployment
  • Microsoft Technical Certifications
